This is the email application from the 4D examples site using LDAP4D to "directory enable" it.

LDAP4D_Authorize

Free, no charge. Try pointing it at a Windows 2000, 2003 Server, Mac OS X Server, etc. with the appropriate username and password, and DN. The downside is that this component doesn't support SSL connections.
